Boxer Amir Khan says was he robbed at gunpoint on Monday whereas he was out in London with spouse Faryal Makhdoom.

“Simply had my watch taken off me at gun level in East London, Leyton,” Khan wrote on Twitter.

“I crossed the street with Faryal, fortunately she was few steps behind me. 2 males ran to me, he requested for my watch whist having a gun pointed in my face. The principle factor is we’re each secure.”

The Metropolitan Police mentioned in a press release despatched to CNN that they’d been known as simply after 9 p.m. on Monday to Leyton in east London.

“A person aged in his 30s is alleged to have been approached by two males who threatened him with a firearm earlier than stealing his watch and fleeing,” the assertion learn.

“There have been no experiences of any photographs fired or any accidents. Police responded and performed an space search. At this very early stage there have been no arrests.

“An investigation has begun and police are following plenty of enquiries.”
