Allister Veinot seeking Liberal nomination in Georgetown-Pownal

GEORGETOWN, P.E.I. — Allister Veinot has introduced his intention to hunt the Liberal nomination in Georgetown-Pownal to run within the April provincial election.
Veinot has lived in Avondale since 1984 and has farmed for 38 of these years. He was the fireplace chief of the Vernon River hearth division for the previous 10 years.
He at present works as a faculty bus driver and has pushed a bus for 15 years.
He mentioned he believes he may be an asset to the celebration and the province.
“I’m a tough employee and excited to get to the doorways to take heed to the considerations of the residents in our space,” mentioned Veinot.
“We have to strengthen our health-care system, enhance senior care and defend our shorelines and forests.”
