CASCUMPEC, P.E.I. — An Alberton man has acquired a 9.5-month jail sentence following an RCMP drug investigation at a Cascumpec visitors checkpoint in 2021.
On Oct. 27, 2021, within the early morning, officers started a drug investigation on one of many autos stopped at a checkpoint on Route 2.
Police mentioned they seized over 45 grams of crystal methamphetamine throughout the investigation.
Brad Shelby Ellsworth was convicted and acquired a 9.5-month jail sentence for possession for the aim of trafficking methamphetamine in Summerside provincial court docket on July 13.
