P.E.I. Liberal leader to go head-to-head with Green leader in provincial election

P.E.I. Liberal Chief Sharon Cameron introduced Thursday she is going to run in District 17, New Haven-Rocky Level, within the subsequent provincial election.

The present MLA for the district is Inexperienced Chief Peter Bevan-Baker.

In 2019 Bevan-Baker received the district with 54 per cent of the vote. Liberal candidate Judy MacNevin positioned third behind the Progressive Conservatives, with 15 per cent. In that very same election the Liberals have been lowered from authorities to third-party standing.
