Camille Bernard – BOOOOOOOM! – CREATE * INSPIRE * COMMUNITY * ART * DESIGN * MUSIC * FILM * PHOTO * PROJECTS

A number of work by artist Camille Bernard. Bernard graduated from the Glasgow College of Artwork in 2016. Her work explores themes of group, care, transformation, and flexibility via representations of human kinds that seem each reassuring and disquieting. Whether or not poised and unconcerned, humorous or emotive, Bernard’s characters evolve fluidly with the landscapes they inhabit:

“Bounded collectively by gestures of tenderness, collaboration and friendship, they relaxation, embrace, feed, play music, construct or ponder their environment in a grounded, sensorial and maybe, delusional method. Behind the stillness and candor of the scenes could lie the daunting prediction of an unsure future and survival.”

Bernard is presently based mostly in Uzerche, Corrèze the place she works in a collectively run house. Her newest works are displaying on the exhibition Nest at the CAC-Bretigny in collaboration with artists Simon Lahure and Corentin Darréand in addition to on the group present, Arcadia, at SISSI Club in Marseille.
