Four killed in sheriff’s department helicopter crash in New Mexico

(Reuters) – 4 folks had been killed when a sheriff’s division helicopter crashed in New Mexico as they had been coming back from serving to firefighters sort out a wildfire, officers mentioned.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s workplace mentioned three personnel from the sheriff’s workplace and one worker from the Bernalillo County Hearth Division had been on board the helicopter, which crashed late on Saturday close to the town of Las Vegas, New Mexico.

“There are not any identified survivors. These personnel had been headed again to Albuquerque after aiding fireplace crews with the East Mesa fireplace,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.

An investigation into the crash was in its preliminary phases, the workplace mentioned.
