All critical infrastructure in Ukraine’s Sievierodonetsk destroyed – president

KYIV (Reuters) – Russian shelling has destroyed the entire essential infrastructure within the Ukrainian metropolis of Sievierodonetsk, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy mentioned on Sunday, describing the taking of town as Russia’s “principal intention” proper now.

“On account of Russian strikes on Sievierodonetsk, all town’s essential infrastructure is destroyed… Greater than two-thirds of town’s housing inventory is destroyed,” Zelenskiy mentioned in a televised speech.

“Taking Sievierodonetsk is the principal intention of the occupying contingents,” he added.
