15 fans of Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv arrested in Greece
THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) — Greek police arrested 15 followers of Israeli soccer membership Maccabi Tel Aviv after discovering them in possession of smoke bombs, flares and firecrackers earlier than a Europa Convention League match in opposition to Aris.
Police stated the followers, between the ages of 16 and 35, have been detained forward of Thursday’s match throughout a safety examine. The arrests have been introduced Friday morning.
