ECB’s De Cos says risks to inflation outlook in eurozone have intensified

MADRID (Reuters) – Dangers to the inflation outlook within the eurozone stay on the upside and have intensified, notably within the quick time period, European Central Financial institution policymaker Pablo Hernandez de Cos stated on Tuesday.

De Cos stated dangers included “lasting deterioration” of the eurozone’s economic system and persistently excessive power and meals costs.

The ECB raised its rates of interest for the primary time in 11 years on Thursday and guided for extra hikes at its upcoming conferences.

De Cos stated the financial institution’s future rate of interest coverage can be taken at every assembly.
