Sarnia, Ont. resident assaulted by knife-wielding man in ‘random act’: police – London

A 27-year-old man is going through assault and weapons fees after Sarnia, Ont., police arrested a person who threatened residents with a knife final week.

On Thursday at 9:20 p.m., police mentioned the person pressured himself into an condominium within the 100 block of Queen Avenue.

Police mentioned the person confronted the residents with a knife, threatened to hurt them, and assaulted one of many occupants.

The person fled after somebody referred to as 911.

Officers mentioned they discovered the person instantly. A bodily confrontation ensued and a stun gun was used on the person, police mentioned.

An officer was handled on the scene following minor accidents and returned to responsibility, in response to police.

The sufferer and the person arrested weren’t recognized to one another, and police referred to as the incident a “random act.”

Dakota Berlin George, 27, of Sarnia, has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a harmful objective, and uttering threats.

The person stays in custody pending a bail listening to.
