KYIV (Reuters) – Russian rocket hearth hit Ukraine’s northeastern metropolis of Kharkiv on Saturday night, killing at the least one individual and damaging a number of houses, native officers mentioned.
The strikes hit the western suburb of Kholodnohirsk and broken a number of houses in Ukraine’s second largest metropolis, its mayor Ihor Terekhov mentioned.
Regional Governor Oleh Synehubov mentioned rockets from an MLRS system had killed one individual and wounded two.
Ukraine’s forces have mounted an enormous counter-offensive within the surrounding Kharkiv area in current days, recaptured dozens of cities and villages from Russia in a swift mechanised assault. Synehubov earlier mentioned Russia had stepped up shelling of town in response.
