Russia says there was no air strike on Ukraine hospital
(Reuters) – Russia’s defence ministry on Thursday denied having bombed a maternity and kids’s hospital in Ukraine’s Mariupol the day gone by, accusing Ukraine of a “staged provocation” there.
The ministry mentioned that Russia carried out no air strikes on floor targets in that space on Wednesday, respecting an agreed “silent regime”.
International Minister Sergei Lavrov mentioned earlier that Ukrainian forces had taken over the hospital, whereas the Kremlin mentioned their was a necessity to determine clear info.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy who has accused Russia of finishing up genocide, mentioned on Thursday three individuals together with a baby had been killed in Wednesday’s air strike on the hospital.
