Racist graffiti in Sidney, North Saanich prompts police plea for help – BC
RCMP officers are investigating a number of instances of graffiti and racist mischief to property in Sidney and North Saanich on Vancouver Island.
There was a report of graffiti depicting sexual and anti-LGBTQ+ feedback, in addition to racist feedback and drawings of swastikas spray-painted on buildings.

There’s a distinction between road artwork and the blatant defacing of property in a malicious approach,
stated Cpl. Andres Sanchez with Sidney North Saanich RCMP.
“These acts don’t signify the values our neighborhood holds towards any group.”
