P.E.I. man arrested for impaired driving after leaving Summerside liquor store
SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 39-year-old Summerside man is going through impaired driving costs after police obtained a report of a probably intoxicated man leaving a Summerside liquor retailer.
Summerside police responded to a report of a suspected intoxicated man leaving the Granville Avenue liquor retailer in a car round 3 p.m. on March 7.
Police discovered the suspect and the car at a Lefurgey Avenue house, and he was taken into custody.
He later supplied breath samples that have been greater than thrice the authorized alcohol restrict and allegedly threatened to hurt officers whereas interacting with them.
The person was held in custody in a single day and is scheduled to seem in courtroom on March 8, to reply impaired driving-related costs and costs of uttering threats and breach of probation for being at a liquor retailer in violation of beforehand court-ordered circumstances.
