KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — Progressive Conservative MLA Matthew MacKay has introduced his bid for re-election in Kensington-Malpeque.

MacKay, who was first elected in 2015 and reelected in 2019, presently serves as minister of social improvement and housing and sits as a member of the treasury board and on the standing committee on guidelines, rules, non-public payments and privileges.

He has beforehand served as minister of financial progress, tourism and tradition, opposition home chief and a member of a number of legislative committees.

In an announcement, MacKay stated that during the last 4 years, he has had the privilege of creating life higher for Islanders within the roles he has held.
