CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The variety of houses with out energy in P.E.I. seems to be rising.
Based on the outage map on Maritime Electrical’s web site, as of 11:45 a.m. on Oct. 7, there are a complete of 11,051 households at the hours of darkness.
That is a rise of about 3,000 houses in comparison with what the utility reported the day earlier than.
Kim Griffin, spokesperson for the utility, instructed SaltWire Community on Oct. 6 that 8,800 households remained with out energy as of late afternoon, a rise of 800 from Oct. 5.
Griffin was not out there for an interview Friday morning, however an replace is predicted earlier than the top of the day.
