Hideki Matsuyama’s Champions’ Dinner big on sushi

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Hideki Matsuyama will carry a Japanese taste to the annual Masters Champions’ Dinner on Tuesday night time.

The gathering, comprised solely of winners of the inexperienced jacket, takes place on the Augusta Nationwide Clubhouse on the Tuesday of each Masters. The earlier 12 months’s winner has the distinction of choosing the menu. Here is Matsuyama’s fare:

  • Assorted sushi, sashimi and nigiri; yakitori rooster skewers

  • Miso glazed black cod with dashi broth

  • Miyazaki wagyu: A5 wagyu beef ribeye with combined mushrooms and greens

  • Japanese strawberry shortcake with whipped cream and Amaou strawberries
