Hamilton police (HPS) are investigating a Wednesday afternoon altercation at a Stoney Creek secondary faculty involving a gaggle of non-students.
In an announcement following the incident, Saltfleet District Excessive Faculty principal Glenn Cooke revealed an incident was tied to a “youth in the neighborhood” and a few “non-students” coming into the training facility.
“We’re reviewing this incident and need you to know that pupil and employees security is of the utmost significance” Cooke assured guardians in a letter Wednesday afternoon.
“The college stays a secure place for college kids to study and employees to work.”
Hamilton police say officers have been dispatched round midday to observe up on a name tied to a “bodily altercation.”

It’s believed the matter began with an argument between three college students and a bigger group within the entrance atrium of the varsity.
A spokesperson with the Hamilton-Wentworth District Faculty Board (HWDSB) stated there have been no critical accidents and that college directors are working with police to analyze these concerned.
