EU adds 21 Russian airlines to those banned in EU

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Fee has added 21 Russian airways to an inventory of carriers banned from working within the 27-nation bloc as a result of they don’t meet worldwide security requirements, the EU government arm stated on Monday.

“The Russian Federal Air Transport Company has allowed Russian airways to function a whole bunch of foreign-owned plane with no legitimate certificates of airworthiness,” Commissioner for Transport Adina Valean stated.
