Culvert replacement work starting in Charlottetown Sept. 8

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Metropolis of Charlottetown is advising residents of culvert alternative work beginning within the metropolis on Sept. 8.

The work will happen on Seaside Grove Street from North River Street to Seaside Grove Street.

Town expects visitors to be detoured and directed to entry the neighbourhood by way of Capital Drive.

Development to the realm will substitute an present wood culvert below the roadway that has reached the top of its lifecycle with a brand new twin concrete field culvert.

Undertaking work will embody sidewalk, shoreline safety, guardrails and a brand new fence.
